Andrew DeClercq Basketball Camps was formed in 2010 to achieve four main goals:
Hello, my name is Andrew DeClercq. I recently retired from a 10-year NBA career playing basketball for the Golden State Warriors (95-97), Boston Celtics (97-99), Cleveland Cavaliers (99-00) and Orlando Magic (00-05). I have played for some of the best and brightest coaches: Rick Pitino (Celtics), Mike Fratello (Cavaliers), Doc Rivers (Magic), George Raveling (Team USA) and Lon Krueger (Gators). I want to pass that knowledge on to the next generation.
I attended the University of Florida (91-95) on a full basketball scholarship where I helped lead UF to it’s first NCAA Final Four in 1994, was selected to the 1st Team All-SEC Freshman Team (91), started every one of my 128 career games and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
I graduated from Countryside High School in Clearwater, FL where I was a 3-year member of the varsity basketball team. I am currently living in Clermont, FL with my wife and 3 children and act as the Head Basketball Coach at Foundation Academy Lions.
